Oro Valley Voter Information, 2022

The August 2, 2022, non-partisan primary election will most likely determine the three winners of these seats as has been the case in the last four primary elections. Please don’t wait for the General election. Be sure to vote in Primary. See below for more information.

The election for Oro Valley Town Council will take place on the primary election date on August 2nd, 2022.

The deadline to register for the primary election is July 5, 2022.

If less than three candidates receive 50% of the votes plus one vote, another election will be held during the general election on November 8, 2022.

For individuals who will not be at their normal address during a regular voting period:

  • Ballots will not be forwarded so it will be necessary for you to call the Pima County Recorder’s Office at (520) 724-4330, at least 29 days prior to the voting date, and give them the address you would like the ballot mailed to.  This is a one-time situation.  All other ballots will continue to be mailed to your address on record.

If you are registered Independent:

  • You will not receive a ballot for the August Primary Election unless you request one!  Please contact the Pima County Recorders Office at (520) 724-4330 at least 29 days prior to the voting date to request a ballot.
